Buenos días!!
Si había una cita en el calendario que se nos estaba resistiendo, sin duda era el Mercado de Motores que se hace en Madrid un fin de semana al mes.
If you are visiting Madrid, you should pray that there is one of those weekends where you can enjoy the vintage flea market "Mercado de Motores" in the Old Train Museum. It´s a perfect plan for a saturday afternoon where you can look for your own vintage treasures, discover new designers, take a break at the outdoors terrace, have a beer and attend one of the multiple concerts that takes place there.
Por unas cosas u otras (viajes, compromisos varios, etc.... ) no habíamos podido disfrutar del encanto de este "mercadillo" hasta ahora.
Probablemente, el que se haga en el Museo del Ferrocarril junto a trenes con décadas de historia, hace que se respire un ambiente más especial... (de hecho se nota un cierto olor a alquitrán, a vía de tren, a estación antigua...) y le de un encanto extra.
Está claro que es un plan fantástico para pasar una tarde curioseando y comprando algo en los puestos, y rematándola tomándote algo en la terraza que se monta en la parte de atrás de la estación... puestos de comida y bebida más música en directo, igual a lleno hasta la bandera a pesar de que ya refresca cuando cae la noche...
Estos tirantes se vinieron para casa...
Pronto os enseñaremos qué pieza vintage se vino también para casa a adornar parte de nuestro (por ahora ligero de decoración) salón.
