Y llegaron los Reyes Magos...

Buenos días!!!

Mañana de Reyes... esa mañana que, de niños, esperamos durante 364 días; esa mañana donde el salón está lleno de regalos, de globos, de paquetes, de juguetes y de diversión.

Al pasar los años perdemos un poco esa ilusión, pero ¿qué queréis que os diga? Yo ayer en la cabalgata me emocionaba viendo las caritas de los más peques llenas de ilusión esperando a que llegasen los Tres Reyes Magos.

Pero hay cosas que nunca pasan como la ilusión de desayunar un buen trozo de Roscón y colocarse la corona de papel sobre la cabeza. ¿Lo malo? Que mañana volvemos otra vez a la rutina y que nos espera un trimestre de lo más complicadito... pero no pensemos en ello y, ¡¡a disfrutar de este día mágico!!

Today is one of the most important days in Spain, at least for kids under 12... and it´s because the Three Wise Men are bringing presents for them... yes, we don´t celebrate so much Santa Claus, but we wait until the night of 5th January to give and receive presents.  I still remember the excitement when I was younger and I stepped into a living room full of packages, presents, balloons, toys and loads of fun.  When you grow up, part of the fun goes away but I must admit that yesterday during The Three Wise Men parade I was moved by the excitement in kids faces.  Anyway we´ll always have the "Roscón" (a special sweet that is only baked for that day) and the only breakfast of the year that I eat with a crown over my head (with the sweet there is always a paper golden crown to be worn by kids, but since there are no kids at home...).  Tomorrow we´ll go back to real life again, but until then, just enjoy the day!!!
