Buenos días!!
Juntar a top models está de moda y nos encanta, la verdad. Comenzó Vogue US con su mediática portada sobre las "Insta-Girls" de la mano de Mario Testino, casi al mismo tiempo pudimos ver la de Vogue Japón con otras 5 históricas top models, Vogue Italia para su 50 aniversario y ahora se apunta al carro W Magazine con esta editorial.
Pero claro, no vale quedar con todos los modelos un día y empezar a hacer fotos a lo loco, sin un patrón claro, sin un hilo conductor que haga disfrutar al lector de la editorial. Porque de lo contrario (y es mas o menos lo que nos pasa a nosotros), puede que nos dé la sensación de estar sencillamente delante de las fotos de un grupo de amigos modelis (hechas por el amigo fotógrafo del grupo) un día en el que han quedado todos y las han subido a Facebook para compartirlas.
It seems that joining together a bunch of models is the new trend in editorials... first we had the so much advertised Vogue US cover with the insta-girls and now we have this W Magazine editorial. However, it´s not enough to have the best models available, they alone are not enough to make an editorial suceed (at least in our opinion), you also need to provide a story line that makes the reader understand the shooting... otherwise you end up with a lot of pics of nice-looking boys and girls that seems that have met one day to take crazy pics of themselves to share in Facebook... is this enough for a September issue editorial?
