Conocíamos a Aurelia Gil de nuestras aventurillas en la Valencia Fashion Week hace ya unos añitos, y precisamente por eso nos hacía especial ilusión encontrárnosla en Seagram´s Gin MFShow Women.
Para el próximo invierno 2014, Aurelia Gil sigue haciendo gala de esa magistral capacidad de combinar los tejidos más técnicos y propios del deporte extremo con la feminidad absoluta de las blondas y encajes.
Queda demostrado que es posible hacer un mix and match de cazadoras de corte ultradeportivo en colores intensos (rojos, morados)con faldas al más puro estilo lencero. Queda demostrado que el neopreno es un tejido de lo más elegante, y que las capuchas no sólo sirven para hacer deporte... queda demostrado que podemos ir un paso más allá y arriesgarnos un poco más en nuestros rígidos esquemas mentales.
We knew Aurelia Gil some years ago while we were covering Valencia Fashion Week and that´s why we have a special affection for her... some years after we see that there is a maduration process but that the essence is the same: the mix and match between technical fabric (neoprene and water-proof fabrics) with the most feminine ones (lace and openwork). She shows that it is possible to combine a sport jacket in bright colours with a sweet pencil lace skirt, that is is possible to break the rules and walk a little bit beyond...
