Warm on top, cold on bottom

{ INSPIRATION - EDITORIAL OF THE WEEK}

Buenos días!!!

Si hay algo de los editoriales de moda de este entretiempo que me encanta son sus propuestas imposibles de jerseys de lana XXL con piernas completamente al aire... porque todos sabemos que en otoño hace frío pero solo de cintura para arriba. Podemos ponernos pieles, un knitted sweater encima de otro, bufandas, cuellos vueltos... eso sí, piernecitas al fresco que de algo nos ha tenido que valer las horas y horas tomando el sol en la playa, ¿no?

Pues sí, serán outfits imposibles (al menos para una servidora) pero en editoriales de moda nos encantan (bueno, y también en streetsyle de fashion week, reconozcamoslos)... no son prácticos, ni realistas, ni para el día a día pero tienen un rollo melancólico de "estoy tirada en casa y me he puesto lo primero que he pillado pero voy ideal de la muerte" que tiene su punto.

Y por supuesto que este editorial de Vogue Paris cumple todos los requisitos de ese "carefully careless" al que se añade el toque bucólico de la cabañita en las montañas y ese exquisito toque guiri de sandalias con calcetines de deporte... ¿de verdad que terminará imponiéndose esta tendencia?

If there is something we just love about this transitional days is the impossible combinations of XXL knitted sweaters with bare legs... yes, it´s fall but only on the top part of our bodies... we need to keep on showing off our tanned legs (otherwise the hours and hours sunbathing at the beach/pool would be a waste of time).  They could be impossible looks (at least for me) but we enjoy seeing them once and again in fashion editorials, in fashion week streetstyles... they are like a statement to the world saying that "we´re so cool that we don´t need to dress up to show who we are".  If we add to the fashion production a bit of rural life and the typically-german style of wearing slides with sport socks, it´s done!!! Perfect editorial for transitional months...
